Another chunky cowl! I used Loops & Threads Charisma yarn again and made this smaller, shorter cowl. My other cowl is so warm, I needed something lighter, too! My mom had knitted up a few of these as Christmas gifts, so I decided to make one too! I used the Easy Ridged Cowl pattern from Knitting on the Net.

Today, it's all about Valentine's Day! For the holiday, I was really inspired by bright shades of hot pink! Here are some perfect vintage finds for Valentine's Day whether it's a romantic date or a fun day spent with friends.
I found some knitting patterns for various versions of the gloves, but I really didn't want to knit the stripes or weave in all those stray ends. So I found some gorgeous self-striping wool yarn in similar colors to hers, and just knit a plain fingerless mitt with rolled edges. I modified this pattern by Knitty Knotty.
Perfect for reading on a cozy winter evening.
I couldn't find my copy of "The Deathly Hallows" so "The Half-Blood Prince" will have to do!
