DIY: Purple Knit Cowl

Wednesday, January 26, 2011
Another chunky cowl! I used Loops & Threads Charisma yarn again and made this smaller, shorter cowl. My other cowl is so warm, I needed something lighter, too! My mom had knitted up a few of these as Christmas gifts, so I decided to make one too! I used the Easy Ridged Cowl pattern from Knitting on the Net.

What have you made yourself lately? Any patterns or tutorials you've found on the web that you'd like to share??

I only do easy DIYs. Like.. Cutting things up. Or removing sleeves. I'm so lazy :(

Gorgeous! I love the color you chose. I've been dying over cowls all winter and need to just go on and get one!
I have one DIY project in the works - but it's a summer scarf of some sort not a winter one!

I love the cowl! I wish I could knit and I'd probably start making one in every color, haha.

What a great idea and I love the color. I never did learn to knit, but I guess it's never too late to add it to my list.

So beautiful--I've really been wanting to make a cowl myself but haven't gotten around to it. Also, I can't really knit in the round--somehow it seems to blow my mind!
